European Racing Headers will give you that mid corner pull and “End of the Straight-Away” Speed you have been longing for! They are specifically designed for the second generation of Boxster 987.2 ((987.2, S and Spyder). Unlike some of our competition, we pride ourselves on creating exhaust systems that are correct for the engine and not building a "One Size Fits All". Headers come in two different primary tube sizes to accommodate the different Porsche engines to maximize the horsepower and torque your engine deserves. Our headers are made in the USA from equal length, mandrel bent 16 gauge mild steel. They maximize flow by utilizing a special merge collector with a "Merge Bullet" to keep the exhaust gases flowing properly and are designed as a simple bolt on with no modifications needed. These headers come with two exhaust bungs in both header banks for customers who want to run with the stock O2 upstream and downstream O2 sensors (This may require O2 plugs to prevent "Check Engine" (Call with questions)). These extremely light weight systems are built for big horsepower with a broad torque band and get rid of the nasty dip in power between 3,500 and 4,500 RPM that Caymans are known for.
