This is the famous 53" wide whale tail used on the Porsche 911 IROC cars. It is made from a fiberglass and clear carbon lay-up and is the last one GT Racing will be offering. Add down force and good looks with this tail base/deck lid. GT Racing also recommends buying the small billet aluminum grill that fits into the recess on the rear of the deck lid (not included, part#16G). It comes with mounts for the stock 911 hinge mechanism and mounting location for the stock deck latch. Hinge adapters (part# 11A) are needed for 964 applications. Average weight is 15lbs.
